Congressman Fuller Votes to Pass the Main Street Act for Northwest Georgia’s Hometown Banks
WASHINGTON, D.C. Congressman Fuller today voted to pass H.R. 6955, the Main Street Capital Access Act, which changes federal banking rules to increase access to capital at the local level and ensures that community lenders can focus on serving families, small businesses, and local economies, making life more affordable for Americans while empowering Main Street. The House passed the bill 270 to 155.
"Greater access to capital allows small businesses to grow and create more jobs. I'm working to make Northwest Georgia's economy the most vibrant it can possibly be, and it starts with strengthening our community banks," said Congressman Fuller.
Congressman Fuller remains determined to be a fighter for Main Street each and every day in Washington.
